Despite these staggering numbers, patients with FSD/Menopause are not getting the care that they need. 60% of women with significant menopausal symptoms seek medical attention, and nearly three-quarters of them are left untreated. Medicine is failing patients leading to significant physical and mental health implications. We are at an impasse for sexual health and menopause care in our current medical model- we are grossly underprepared to treat these patients due to our deprioritization in medical training.
